After spending five years making farm and ranch loans, I became passionate about helping people make sound financial decisions. Working with people as they share their dreams, and then exploring options to make those dreams a reality is a true honor. Most people know they need to save, and many people are saving, but not everyone knows if they are saving enough. Comprehensive financial planning helps people see how much they need to save to reach their goals. From day-to-day spending to a family vacation to the occasional splurge, having a plan in place helps reduce the stress that can come with these spending decisions. I love getting to being a part of the milestones of our client’s lives from births to graduations, weddings to grandkids and on to retirement. And when the challenges in life happen, I value being able to support our clients through these trials and educate them on their options. There is so much emotion involved with financial decisions, and if I can be a trusted resource to educate people, empowering them to make sound decisions that bring them peace of mind while helping them feel valued, I’ve done my job.
I grew up on a cotton farm in West Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University. After graduation I worked as a Loan Officer, and when my husband and I relocated to Idaho, I began my career as a Financial Advisor. Shortly after moving to Idaho, we started a family and now have three beautiful kids. We spent fourteen years in East Idaho, and in 2023, we moved back to Texas to be closer to family. While it is nice to get back to my roots, a part of my heart will always be in Idaho. It would be a dream come true if I could move Texas closer to Idaho! I love being a wife and a mom and supporting our kids in their activities. In my spare time, I like to bake, cook, work in the yard and volunteer, especially teaching high school youth in our church. When I can convince my husband to join me, I love to be on the dance floor listening to old country music while dancing a twostep or waltz. Our family enjoys camping, hiking, road trips, spending time with family and friends and playing games. It is not lost on me that trusting someone with your finances is not an easy decision.
